Hi,

Today I installed a fresh copy of F12 and I noticed that I have no icons in any menu of any application - Desktop, Nautilus, Firefox, Pidgin, OpenOffice - nowhere.
I only have them in the Main Gnome Menu and that's it.

Does any body know what can cause this problem and how to fix it?

BTW,
I've been using Fedora starting from F6 and I can claim that F12 is indeed one of the most awful release that I've seen  I used to successfully upgrade to each next major release up to F11, but F12 made me completely reinstall my OS, cause there were tones of bugs after the upgrade including not working WiFi. And even a fresh copy has such stupid bugs like this one.

Hi there

Menu Icons have been disabled by Default in Fedora 12.

to get them back:

gconftool-2 --type boolean --set /desktop/gnome/interface/buttons_have_icons true
gconftool-2 --type boolean --set /desktop/gnome/interface/menus_have_icons true

be smart and read the release notes ;)

Awesome! The magic thing happened - I can see my icons and I am happy again! :D
Great thanks Milena!
