Hi everyone

just a quick question: I have an external HD with 2 partitions, one ext3 and one FAT32.

When I plug in the HD both partitions get automatically mounted, but as I only use I use the FAT32 partition to transfer data from/to Windows machines (which does not happen so often) I would like only the ext3 partition to be mounted automatically.

Any clues on how can I do that?

Thanks in advance
nico

put an entry on /etc/fstab for the partition you don't want to be mounted with the keyword "noauto"
(without quotes) in the 4th column
