Hi,

does anybody know where compiz keeps it's settings?
I have reinstalled my box and I'm trying to get the rotate cube effect configured the same way as i had before. After spending half an hour paying around with the knobs I tried finding the settings file from my old system. I looked in /home/user/.gconf/apps/compiz but there is nothing useful in there.

My old system was fedora 9, and I'm currently running fedora 11.

cheers

i think you are looking for ccsm.

yum install ccsm fusion-icon-gtk
should do the trick.

No, I have ccsm. I was configuring compiz using it, but I can't get the rotate effect to feel the same as before. Hence, I want to get the config file from my old system and see what were the settings I used there.
