View Full Version : Problem Installing Adobe Air 1.5.2 on Fedora 11 x86_64

24th August 2009, 02:35 PM

I'm running Fedora 11 x86_64 and I'm running into a problem installing Adobe Air 1.5.2.

[root@fergatron Air]# ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin

(setup:4912): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_x11_atom_to_xatom_for_display: assertion `atom != GDK_NONE' failed

Am I missing libraries or something? Thanks for any clarification.

I found the answer. Someone posted a good article and I got the right libraries.

Awesome, I'm glad it helped someone besides me. :D Are you running TweetDeck or anything specific on Air? If so, lets follow each other. I'm @FergatROn (http://www.twitter.com/fergatron) on twitter.

FergatRon, can you make a video on how to install Adobe Air Beta on Fedora 13 xfce 64bit?

That's not a bad idea. Unfortunetly; I don't have time to do that. I've actually had some serious video card issues that I haven't fixed yet. I haven't installed Fedora 13 nor have I been on my Linux partition in weeks!!!! :mad:

When I get it fixed I can surely make an effort.
