View Full Version : Project: Liberation of the Zune

Ok, this might just be my stubbornness, the fact that I bought a Zune and don't want to return it to get something more Linux friendly, but I really like the Zune. Plus, I don't know that much about programming, and I want to learn.

1- Ok, so I need the Zune driver file (Zune.inf got it) to have my computer recognize the Zune.

-Can Linux use .inf files?
-How can I convert it to/disguise it as a file that will work with Linux (Fedora 11) if the .inf file doesn't?
-Where do I put it/how do I install te driver file?

Ok, I realize my first post was a bit childish. Edited to be more concise.

From all that's been reported, like this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=661358 , you're fighting a losing battle. Either return it or enjoy it as is.
