Hi Folks,

I'm a little stumped. I have built a new mail server using Fedora10. My previous mail server is 3 years old and I wanted to migrate to new hardware software.

In my /etc/mail/virtusertable I have

webmaster@laketomahawkwi.org laketomwebmaster

In my /etc/aliases file I have

laketomwebmaster user1,user2@someotherplace.org,user3@somewhereelse .com

Incoming mail is rejected as "User Unknown".

It seems that the virtusertable is being used, but it is not using the aliases file. Any hints would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Add colon after alias. Remove space before .com. Type newaliases.

Fixed. BTW, there was no space before .com. Just a display issue on this board. However, it's the simplest things that get overlooked. My bad. You are correct. Adding the colon was an oversight on my part. Trying to get stuff done too fast.

Thanks again...muches.
