Brasero (the default CD burner for Fedora 11) not working correctly.

1) I can load some music CD's just fine, but others will not load up. Everyone, thus far, that will not load has wav files.

2) I can not burn any CD's at all, as it hangs at the conversion stage.

On the copy end I found that if I insert the CD, click on the computer icon, click on the CD icon, I can, in that way get a copy. Running the copy through the program “Adacity” and dropping certain features I can then get the thing to actually play.

For the time being I have installed “GnomeBaker” which in turn works just fine on the burning end of it.

dude try K3b , it starts and checks that you have all the stuff you need and notifies you of whats missing
then go to
Settings > Configure K3b > left side of pop-up= Programs
it will tell you what you have and dont

the Add software gui will be the place to install all the missing pieces from the rpm fusion repo

search on " transcode "
and on k3b there should be and extras pkg with the vcd stuff and ffmeg and lame , etc
