I have installed empathy on Fedora 11 x86_64 running on Dell inspiron 1525.

When I try to do a voice call in empathy, the call immediately disconnects. Running from command line. i get the following error. Pls tell me how to solve this.

$ empathy

Same issue here on my Dell Latitude. Sound works and I already got even Skype working so it should not be a problem of the sound itself.

But I also can't do voice calls using Gizmo. So the cause of the problem is probably not Empathy itself - maybe a library that is used by both.
