hi there..

I presume automount of drives (dvd etc.) is still something fedora does , so is anyone else not seeing this occur,,fedora 11 RC > fedora release ( yes I have fedora-release here) and it a music CD inserted isn't automounting or asking me to play it...It's working with kde cd player..but rhythmbox and amarok both aren't sweeing music cd and I can't figure out how to make them see it :)

Ill keep working , if someone knows whats going on here I'd appreciate a reply.

thx anyone

On F11 the auto mounting will work with usb sticks on my main machine , but if I insert a dvd or cd in the drive it will tell me the disc is empty (AMDx2 / MSI KA790GX with the dvd on pATA). Manually mounting it in the terminal works fine though. I guess this not automounting is really annoying.
Everything works fine on another older test machine with F11.
I haven't found out how the automounting works exactly, so i cant help you.

Hope someone else can help you out.

Update: using a SATA dvd burner made my problems disappear, indicating we may be seeing something going wrong deep in the software.
