Hello All...

Funny thing here. After my latest round of updates (this following a change to delta rpms) my fedora 10 installation refuses to boot! I had everything working well and then poof! Broken! The system boots all the way to the login screen, but at this point all I see is the cursor and a black screen for about 2 seconds, then the displaymanager reloads. The login screen keeps restarting and restarting ad infinitum. Here are the results of my various logs:

The steps I have taken thus far have been to:

Remove the ever problematic FGLRX driver (had been working nicely
Switch from kdm to gdm via /etc/sysconfig/desktop
Delete xorg.conf with hopes modesetting would fix it
system-config-display --reconfig (seemed to work)

I should disclose that I was using the ATI installer downloaded directly from AMD's site, since catalyst 9.3 broke my 3d. The 9.4 driver worked well. And yes, I did /usr/share/ati/fglrx-uninstall.sh.

I am at my wits end! Geeks to the rescue!!!
