View Full Version : Unknown error, maybe network hardware, unsure

I am not sure where to put this post, so I am putting it here.

I just installed Cambridge, and I heard about Autoten (it was recommended by Dangermouse). I tried it and since then have had issues with my desktop PC. I also have a laptop, with which I am writing this post.

I have been working on this problem all day today, and some of yesterday, and often come up with different messages (errors) saying different things. I *think*, but am not sure, that "b43" is good to go. The error upon boot attempt to the current kernel is as follows:

ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
input: b43-phy1 as /devices/virtual/input/input6
zd1211rw 1-6.4:1.0: firmware version 4725
zd1211rw 1-6.4:1.0: zd1211b chip 0ace:1215 v4810 high 00-0e-3b AL2230_RF pa0 --6-S
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan1: link becomes ready
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready
b43-phy1 ERROR: PHY transmission error

Could someone help with this, please?
