I am running Fedora 9 on an Intel Core2 Duo machine. I am trying to develop some software, and when I perform a make on the project I get the following error:

c++: error trying to exec 'cc1objplus': execvp: No such file or directory

I did a search on the Internet and it seems like most people have solved this problem by install gcc-c++. I checked YUM and it indicates I already have that package installed.

What can be done so that I can build my software successfully?

you might need to add some paths to your system path
open /.bash_profile
and add /usr/sbin:/sbin
to the path string
---------
PATH=$PATH:/sbin:/usr/sbin:$HOME
and try again
you may need to logout and log back in again for it to set .

I made those changes and logged back into the system. I am still having the same problem while building. What else can I try?

have you also installed the Objective-C++ files

su -
yum install gcc-objc++

That worked. I'm not getting the error any more. Thanks.
