I use Pan for Usenet and, in general I like it. Up until I upgraded from F9 to F10, the compose window came up in a convenient size. Now, it comes up at little more than half the height it was before, and doesn't remember that I've resized it. Checking with the support email list, there's no setting in Pan for this. One poster mentioned that he could set this type of thing in kwin under KDE. I'm using Gnome, with Compiz. Checking, there's a setting in the Compiz Manager to force a window to open with a specific height and width. Does anybody know how to find out what the dimensions I need are, and get this configured?

Also, while I'm at it, is it possible to have Compiz open certain programs on specified desktops? If so, I could have it open various programs I need at login and have them come up on the desktops I want. Not important, but It Would Be Nice.
