Ok, so my set up is as follows, smaller hard drive for / and other dir's, then a much larger second hard drive for /home dir. Well the hard drive that the /home dir was on failed and I've had to replace the hard drive. Is there a process I should follow for getting the new hard drive set up, formated, and correctly mapped / mounted back to /home??

Any help would be great, thanks.

Oh, running fedora 9 btw.

It should be quite easy:
1. Connect the drive.
2. Use gparted to create partitions and filesystems.
3. Copy your old home directories from a backup.
4. Find the line in /etc/fstab that mounts /home and change it to use the new drive.
That's it in a nutshell If you need help with any step, just ask.
