View Full Version : non-critical boot error message - hid-core.c

I have two identical machines (see smolt profile for phenom machine in my sig) - the only difference is that one is hooked to a usb KVM switch, and one is not. When I unhook the KVM switch, and plug the keyboard and mouse straight into the computer this error does not occur. Once the system boots, the keyboard and mouse appear to work fine - however one hates to see error messages on boot, anyone know what causes this, or how to "fix" it? Here's the error which occurs early in the process once the kernel starts to boot:

drivers/hid/usbhid/hid-core.c: couldn't find an input interrupt endpoint

Can anyone shed any light on this? I googled it, and didn't come up anything instructive so far. I'm not going to worry about it, but I'm curious. Thanks in advance!
