Can you tell us which version of Fedora you are using ?

Do you have any idea of which updates you performed?

Does booting to a previous/older kernel work?

Fedora installed updates on my computer today. After the update i could not move any folder or program with my mouse. So i tured gl desktop on and then got a whte screen.

I cant longin to root for some reason. and i cant get the terminal working with alt-cont-f1

There has to be a way to turn off gl-desktop with the keyboard

Fedora 10 uses tty 1 for the GUI, try alt-ctrl-F2. I have the same problem and am removing all of the updates that yum installed yesterday.

have a look at the yum log, "vi /var/log/yum.log". Not sure what killed it all, still researching
