I have 2 machines, one has been running FC9 for a while and I installed FC10 on another machine recently. I first noticed this problem on the FC10 machine but recently noticed it on the FC9 machine also. When I use PackageKit to update/install/search/remove packages (I use the "pkcon" command usually) it seems to work fine. But when I try to monitor the progress using the "pkmon" command, I get this error:

** ERROR **: cannot refresh transaction list
aborting...
Aborted

Again this happens on both the FC9 and FC10 machines. On the FC9 machine "pkmon" was working fine until recently. Also when I do a "pkmon -v", I get:

TI:11:05:42 TH:0x8c32458 FI:egg-debug.c FN:egg_debug_init,306
- Verbose debugging 1 (on console 1)PK_VERBOSE
TI:11:05:42 TH:0x8c32458 FI: pk-monitor.c FN:main,146
- connected=0

- failed to get transaction list
TI:11:05:42 TH:0x8c32458 FI: pk-monitor.c FN:main,162
- refreshing task list
TI:11:05:42 TH:0x8c32458 FI: pk-task-list.c FN: pk_task_list_refresh,276
- failed to get transaction list

** ERROR **: cannot refresh transaction list

Aborted

I don't know if this matters, but "yum" also seems to work fine on both machines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
