Hi!
There are a software to encode/decode(same thing :cool: ) in rot-13?
something that can be piped:
cat oldemail.txt | rot13 > decoded.txt

You can use the standard Linux/Unix "tr" command:

tr 'a-zA-Z' 'n-za-mN-ZA-M' <oldemail.txt >decoded.txt
See "man tr" or "info tr" for details.

Ok, i've got how tr works!
tr works as a characters replacer. And as rot13 is just a substitution of characters (it's a shift of chars >>13)... tr works as a scrambler with the given array of chars. :cool:

There is also a rot13 command (or 'caesar'), provided by the bsd-games package, which includes other useful "games" such as primes, number and morse (see individual man pages for usage)

yum info bsd-games
