Hi Guys,

Just recently installed Fedora 9 and i've practically got everything working except for my dvb video card. It's a Fustion HDTV Dual digital 4 which previously worked in F8.

According to F9, everything seems to be working fine. Following is output from dmesg : -
[root@themaster firmware]# dmesg |grep DVB
dvb-usb: found a 'DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4' in warm state.
DVB: registering new adapter (DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4)
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Zarlink ZL10353 DVB-T)...
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:05:00.2/usb3/3-1/input/input7
dvb-usb: DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4 successfully initialized and connected.
dvb-usb: found a 'DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4' in warm state.
DVB: registering new adapter (DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4)
DVB: registering frontend 1 (Zarlink ZL10353 DVB-T)...
dvb-usb: DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4 successfully initialized and connected.

However, when i do a scandvb, I get no channels.

scandvb /usr/share/dvb-apps/dvb-t/au-Melbourne
scanning /usr/share/dvb-apps/dvb-t/au-Melbourne
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'

etc

In F8, i had to use the xc3028 file to allow it to find Australian channels, and when I did that, it kept crashing my kernel giving me (paraphrased ) kernel oops 0000 SMP

I'm running a Q6600 CPU, Nvidia 8600 GT, Tv card = Fusion HDTV Dual Digital.

Fedora 9 is patched to the latest version as of last night. I used this site as the guidelines for me : -

If anyone else can shed some light that would be great.
