Hi,
I am using Leigh's compiz-fusion repository. After the long awaited updates that I got recently, I don't have some animation effects any more. Notably missing is the fire/burn effect. There are many others missing as the dropdown list of animation effects has become much smaller. I have the following packages installed

compiz-gnome-0.7.7-14.fc9.i386
compiz-fusion-plugins-extra-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compiz-kde-0.7.7-14.fc9.i386
compiz-bcop-0.7.7-9.fc9.noarch
compizconfig-python-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compiz-fusion-plugins-main-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compizconfig-backend-gconf-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
compiz-fusion-release-1-6.noarch
compiz-manager-0.6.0-7.fc9.noarch
compiz-all-0.7.7-14.fc9.i386
compiz-0.7.7-14.fc9.i386
libcompizconfig-0.7.7-9.fc9.i386
fusion-icon-all-0.5-120.fc9.noarch
fusion-icon-gtk-0.5-120.fc9.noarch
fusion-icon-0.5-120.fc9.noarch
fusion-icon-qt-0.5-120.fc9.noarch

Do I need some other package now after this update?

Though there are many topics about issues with updates, but I couldn't find this issue being asked earlier.

thanks

They split the animation plugin i.e animationa + animation addons . ( you may need to restart compiz )

Oops. Though the configuration update should have enabled the animation add-ons plugin if the user had any extra animations enabled before update.

thanks a lot
