I have just purchased an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop and want to know if my current USB Orange Mobile Broadband modem stick will work on Fedora 9 Linux O/S. As I would like to use Linux as an alternative to MS Windows at some point. Can any body help?

won't kmod-ndiswrapper work?

EDIT: found out kmod-ndiswrapper still at version 2.6.25.14-108.fc9. 2.6.26.3-29.fc9 not yet available.

looks like I`ll have to run dual booted for the time being. I hope this inconvenience can be addressed asap.

What inconvenience? Maybe I missed something, but it doesn't look like anybody here has said it won't work...
