Hey folks,
I was trying to install the glass icon theme, and ran into an issue. I couldn't get folder icons or the trash can, along with a few others, to show up. I did some digging, and to fix it, I ended up symlinking a few files. For example, to get my home folder to show, I had to symlink gnome-fs-home.svg to user-home.svg.
I am new to disecting themes, so I looked at the documentation, and according to this site, (http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/Tutorials/IconThemes) the gnome-fs way is proper. I can't find any mention of the user-home thing anywhere that isn't a forum post. Is that just the way it used to be, or is there some kind mapping going on that only fedora and ubuntu are doing? (I found some non-working fixed in an ubuntu forum, but the working fix was from gnome-look.), If it is how it used to happen, is there any documentation out there so I can try and update the glass icon set upstream?
Thanks!

EDIT: I just realized I made a mistake. It isn't the index.theme file that is wrong, it is the actual filenames for the .svg's.

Everything is moving in this direction.

The site you mentioned is very outdated sometimes and incomplete in most cases.
