Hi,
I'm pretty new to Linux and am trying to set up my own virtual lab. Everything from fedora to vmware has installed pretty easily. I purposely got a 200GB laptop for running all the virtual images.

To my surprise (I must have missed this during installation), when I checked the disk usage
it told me I only had 25 gbs 54% used etc.

Then when I ran df -k I see the rest of my disk and it looks like this
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 209525024 6% /

I'm still really new to all this so it's probably something stupid. I just don't want to start setting up images and then run out of space.

I'd really appreciate any help!

What program did you use to check the disk usage? Did you run it on the host or on a VMware guest? Please post the actual command you used and the complete output.
