View Full Version : Cannot connect to internet to get network drivers

10th August 2008, 08:46 AM
I was uninstalling some software with yumextended and somehow, everything managed to get uninstalled. There's no software left.. I don't know how else to discribe it.. I can't even re-download my nvidia drivers through the terminal because I don't have internet access anymore; I have no network drivers.

I don't know how in the heck this happened but, I need to know how to fix it.. I think I can manage to reinstall everything if I could connect to the internet but, that seems impossible because I need the internet to download the network drivers!!

Most network drivers are included in the kernel, which is Linux itself.

What steps if any did you take to enable network in the first place?

What network card appears in the output of
lspci Should have Net in the name.
