Hello all! I have a shared memory video controller, i915 intel chipset, that is rated up to 128MB. In the next few days, I will be upgrading ram to take advantage of the full 128MB it is capable of. I was wondering, how does linux manage shared memory, and is there a way to monitor/change the memory allocated to the video card? Under windows, you can open up the video card's utility, and it tells you how much memory is dedicated to the video card at any given time (generally 8MB if idle). Is there something similar under fedora?

Thank you!
