I cannot find a driver for a ZT-800 Contact CCD Scanner. This is a barcode scanning device that uses a USB port and acts as a keyboard emulator- it works on our Windows and Mac machines with no other setup. We are currently testing Fedora 9; do we need to somehow configure the USB port to be a 'keyboard emulator'? The keyboard that I am typing on is also a USB port, and is clearly understood. The following output occurs when we plug in the barcode scanner:

>dmesg

usb 7-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usb 7-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
usb 7-2: New USB device found, idVendor=04b4, idProduct=ed81
usb 7-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 7-2: Product: Generic KB-HID
usb 7-2: Manufacturer: Guest

Many thanks for your time, my apologies in advance if the answer to this question is too novice for this forum.
