Hi

I have a problem to detect the USB flash device (USB Flash Drive A-Data 16Gb ) to Fedora9. In WinXP and VISTA this flash card is working properly.

All other USB devices are working properly.

dmesg | tail

usb 1-2: New USB device found, idVendor=05e3, idProduct=0608
usb 1-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=1, SerialNumber=0
usb 1-2: Product: USB2.0 Hub
usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
usb 1-5: device descriptor read/64, error -110

uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.25.11-97.fc9.i686 #1 SMP Mon Jul 21 01:31:09 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Same problems on Fedora and Gentoo. I think, this is not distribution-specific problem, but kernel one.

I had this very same problem on both Fedora 9 and Arch Linux. A-data sucks, go buy something decent instead!
