I'm trying to use incron (the cron like utility that uses inotify to monitor filesystem changes) with a fuse based file systems (sshfs) but it is not working for me. incron does work with my (local) home dir on the same F9 machine.

The following seems to suggest that it should work...
http://fuse.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Inotify%20change%20notification?PHPSESSID=fe7d1aac 29b6a196608c51aac49b18e8

So, has anyone been successful in getting incron to work on a fuse based file-system?

Also, where can I see the log messages for incron on F9? On my Ubuntu based system it uses /var/log/syslog, but on F9 we don't have /var/log/syslog and /var/log/messages (or for that matter no file in /var/log) is getting incron's logs.

Hubbitus: You get one chance, and one chance only to explain this.

Dan, this might explain something:

This IP has not seen any suspicious activity within the last 3 months. This IP is most likely clean and trustworthy now. (This record will remain public for historical purposes, however.) Looks like your IP Addy was JUST cleared from being a spam center and your posts elsewhere sure don't look like spam. It is unfortunate that you've been assigned a dirty IP addy, but it will clear in time.

Hmmmm.

Ok. I still haven't gotten a PM back from this user.
