Hi

There was an update this morning on Fedora 8, both the kernel and I *think* libX11 which has stopped Moneydance launching. Someone in the Moneydance forum has suggested it is a widely known incompatibility between libX11 and java producing a well known xlib lock problem.

Is there a log of the these update, just so I can confirm that's what was updated.

Then secondly, is there a way of going back to the previous version of libX11.

And lastly, is anyone running Moneydance successfully on Fedora 9, even after the latest update.

Thanks for any help

Thanks for that.

Well the update that appears to have stopped Moneydance launching is libxcb-1.1-1.fc8.i386 or the kernel update itself > 2.6.25.11-60.

However I have installed java + moneydance without integral java and it's working again, so it looks as if the incompatiblity, whatever it is, is with the integrated version of java.
