I am using a small HD (all I have left) for F9 & am in need of some extra space to do a video project.
I know I can clean out the /TMP folder but what is in there that I SHOULD NOT delete, ANYTHING?

Thanks for any info.

Look in your /etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch file
Anything that should not delete is flagged with an -x argument passed to
tmpwatch. In my file that would be:

/tmp/.X11-unix
/tmp/.XIM-unix
/tmp/.font-unix
/tmp/.ICE-unix
/tmp/.Test-unix

since those are directories, I think that means they are not entered to
delete any child files in those as well as not deleting the directory itself.
