6th July 2008, 12:19 AM

I have HP all-in-one printer. series F2180 .

i went to the site. I got 3 options. Automatic Installer, Self-Extracting Archive with installer and with source code.I chose automatic installer, which is a .run file then in the web they gave instractions followed:

To use the Automatic Installer, follow these steps:

1. Download the file to a convenient location (e.g., home directory or desktop, etc).
2. Open a console/terminal and cd to the location where the installer was downloaded. (e.g., cd ~/Desktop)
3. Type in and run this command: 'sh hplip-2.8.6.run'

I then copy the downloaded file to the desktop and followed their steps, but nothing happened.... what will i do now??? plzz help me......... i am giving the code output of the console below:

[root@localhost piash]# cd ~/Desktop
[root@localhost Desktop]# sh hplip-2.8.6.run
sh: hplip-2.8.6.run: No such file or directory
[root@localhost Desktop]#

I am using Fedora 9
please help me.

PM me, yeah sure.

OK. First I'm going to point you to the forum guidelines, especially the part where it says don't use leet speak. In future please use a person's name or handle when replying, not "Dude" or "Boss" This isn't a primary school playground where the kids need to feel "cool"

Secondly, as I pointed out in another thread, all multimedia questions have been asked many times, too many to document and a bit of simple research would turn up the answer.

I downloaded and successfully installed the Hp all in one driver (HPLIP).

But i use refill in the cartridge that is why every time it's showing low ink although there is ink in the cartridge. May be for that reason in F9 i couldn't print any page?????

But in XP there is no prob with the refill. i can print in XP using refill.

Is there any solution??
