Hi guys im using a pci card to use 2 sata hds, maybe that is my problem i dont know but everytime i format and try to mount my hds (ext2 or ext3) got some erros, gparted told me this while checking (as ext3)

2fsck -f -y -v /dev/sdb1

The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>

e2fsck 1.40.2 (12-Jul-2007)
e2fsck: Filesystem has unsupported feature(s) while trying to open /dev/sdb1

What should i do?
thanks

I would try to see if the drives are bad in the first place.

Try the hdparm -t /dev/sda and hdparm -T on the drives. Then, when you make the filesystem, use mkfs.ext3 -cc /dev/sd?? to check for bad blocks. Check the dmesg log to see if there are any errors as well.

After that, it gets a little harder, like checking for bad cables or bad hardware.
