try another repository ...

you can find it on the official fedora site : http://fedora.redhat.com

Choose a mirror near your home :-)

Like where does it list the mirrors, and how do I tell yum to use that mirror? THX

EDIT: I found some mirrors, but how to I tell yum to use them? is it in yum.conf?

check this file : /etc/yum.conf if you are using yum

You have just to change the url uses to check update for example :

[base]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=http://mirror.hiwaay.net/redhat/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os
http://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/core/$releasever/$basearch/os
http://mirror.clarkson.edu/pub/distributions/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os
http://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/fedora/fedora/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/RPMS.os
# http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-$releasever
#gpgcheck=1

[updates-released]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Released Updates
baseurl=http://ftp.ens.utulsa.edu/pub/linux/fedora/core/updates/$releasever/$basearch
http://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/core/updates/$releasever/$basearch
http://mirror.clarkson.edu/pub/distributions/fedora/linux/core/updates/$releasever/$basearch
http://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/fedora/fedora/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/RPMS.updates
# http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/released/fedora-core-$releasever
#gpgcheck=1

Can't use the mirrors page on http://fedora.redhat.com. Does anyone know what addresses might work for a UK mirror? a copy of the yum.conf would be great :)

name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=http://zeniiia.linux.org.uk/pub/distributions/fedora/linux/core/2/x86_64/os/
# http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-$releasever
