Why is there no kdvi in fedora 9?

Okular does not have support for inverse search, neither does evince. Where is kdvi?

By the way, where is kpdf also?

If one wants to change to okular, all right, but include inverse search for dvi files on it. I am starting to miss KDE 3, plasma sucks!

Just grab the kdegraphics and kdegraphics-libs rpms for Fedora 8. Install using rpm --nodeps and you'll get kdvi and kpdf back again. Seems to work fine.

okular in kde4, replaces kpdf (not sure about kdvi).

Please rdieter, try not to answer before reading the full post. I need inverse search, do you know what is it?

BTW, thanks for the tip QuantumKnot, I will give it a try.

All I'm saying is: *there is no kdvi or kpdf in kde4*, ie, kdvi is not an option.

time to eat crow a bit, of course it's an option, provided there is somebody willing to step up to port/build kdegraphics v3 and maintain that rpm pkg for F-9.

I've got same problem in Fedora 10. I need to use inverse search. It was in kdvi, but there is no kdvi in new Fedora. And I have no clue how to install it. It seems that there supposed to be inverse search in okular, alas it does not work!
