Hi,

I've noticed that my system is unable to handle multiple audio streams at the same time. Eg. when rhythmbox is playing a song and i go onto youtube to view a video, rhythmbox just stops playing anything. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Never had this issue in Fedora 7.

What is your audio configuration and hardware?
Do you use Gnome or KDE?
Do you use pulseaudio?

I use GNOME. Currently all my sound settings are set to "Autodetect".

Sorry, I wish I could help more, but I'm using KDE. So I don't even remember where the audio settings are in Gnome.

But... I would first try setting the playback device explicitly instead of Autodetect. Look for things like ALSA or pulseaudio or hw0 etc.
