Hello Fedora fans!

I missed to install the audio drivers when installing Fedora 9 and now I don't get any sound. (surprise, surprise). My question: what drivers/packages are installed by default during setup? (I think/hope that the defauls should work for me).

Greetings,

A lot of them, from the kernel package.

If you have pulseaudio installed you can open the control and see what app is playing audio, and what outputs, at what volume levels.

yum install alsa-plugins-pulseaudio pavucontrol

The haldaemon service also needs to be running, to look up sound cards via hal.

And of course check your volume controls in software and on speakers.
