You can install new langauge packs like this:

yum install openoffice.org-langpack-LANGCODE
Where LANGCODE is the language code for the language you'd like to install. In your case, you'd want to run:

yum install yum install openoffice.org-de
Once it has been installed you can switch the default language in the OpenOffice preferences.

I started this on the bash, the following output returned:

Kein Paket install verfügbar. (No package install available)
Kein Paket openoffice.org-de verfügbar. (No package openoffice.org-de available)
Nichts zu tun (Nothing to do)

When I start OpenOffice-org draw the language-settings are (Tools, Options):
User Interface: Default
Locale Setting: Germany (German)
Default languages for documents: German (Germany)

but all of the menus and settings are in English, no german...

What can I do?

Thx a lot for ur help.
Stefan.
