How can I get these colors in Vim and Mutt? They are nice to do programming with.

you mean like this

open a terminal click edit then current profile then open the color tab and edit

You will see it colorful in regular user, but not root user. RIght?

Correct. It can be made global by putting it in here with correct ownerships and permissions.

/usr/share/vim/vim71/colors

Similar if you want to have for every user the same vimrc, then you can make your changes in

/etc/vimrc

instead of ~/.vimrc

Those images are so small, it's hard to tell. Thanks though. I've got it now from here. I had to modify one color to get it exactly the same.

No, I made the mistake of right click and view picture. Now I see it. It's kind of close, but I found out that the terminal colors are limited, so you can't get it to look near the same as in a gui. That's why I chose a different colorscheme for vim. Check my previous post. I editted it many times, but I have it right now.
