this just means you cannot access livna repository. If you do not need right now just disable it

Personally, I hate the new Add/Remove Software thing in F9... So much so, that I removed it all :) Open a Terminal and type:

su

Give the root password and then type:

yum clean all

yum install yumex

It's a much better install/removal front-end and you'll find it under 'Applications > System Tools'

LOL
It's not a temporary error.

http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/9/i386/yum/stable/repodata/repomd.xml (http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/9/i386/yum/stable/repodata/repomd.xml)

This is the correct address:
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/9/i386/repodata/repomd.xml
( http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/9/i386/repodata/ )

edit: fixed links...

Hello:
You need to disable the following 2 repos

Repo-id : fedora-source
Repo-name : Fedora 9 - Source
Repo-enabled: enabled

Repo-id : livna-stable
Repo-name : Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (stable)
Repo-enabled: enabled

They are located in /etc/yum.repos.d/
set

enabled=1
to
enabled=0

Save, exit and do a yum clean all and then

yum check-update
