View Full Version : Error installing F9 (On booting)

Hi.

I downloaded the Fedora 9 in DVD .iso. After I do a checksum using K3b, and it works. Then I make a .iso downloaded in a DVD for I intall the F9.

I inserted the DVD-RW on drive (With fedora (.iso)) and on booting an error happen:

isolinux: Disk error 20, AX=423D, drive EF
Boot failed

Anybory knows what is this?

yeah, same thing happend to my computer.

Boot failed: press a key to retry...

DVD iso was downloaded from fedoraproject.org via bt, md5 checked with no error, DVD was bunt by Nero 8, can read the whole content on DVD under windows. please HELP!

can boot up by Live disk without any problem.

Hello everybody,

I think you both should try creating another DVD but do something (anything, who knows?) differently. See what I mean and get some ideas in another thread here (http://forum.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=188193), for example.
