I've just recently moved to Fedora 9 (KDE) from Kubuntu and I have several questions. I notice that my cpu is always at 100% load and CPU scaling isn't working. On Kubuntu it would change the freq. from 800Mhz or so to 2200Mhz as needed. This doesn't seem to be working even though it appears to be turned on when I go to "KPowersave". Is there something that I'm missing?

Also I noticed that there is always process running called "kerneloops" and that it's taking around 88% of my CPU. What is this for and is this normal?

Thanks for any help you can give me with my new adventure with Fedora :)

No Gumper, it is not normal. I just checked my system laod, and it was 1% used. (99% idle.)
Further, I checked for anything named kernelloops, and found nothing.
I'd right click that sucker and kill it.
