Besides aspell-en, I have installed aspell-it and aspell-pt for Italian and Portuguese spell checking. Unfortunatelly, Evolution does not show them in its spell checking options, so I'm stuck with English-only spell checking.

Gossip shows them fine.

How can I force evolution to use these dictionaries?

Thanks.

Ha! Solved it!

Searching bugzilla I discoverd that evolution uses enchant and not gnome-spell. Searching for enchant in the repository showed me a package named enchant-aspell which integrates libenchant with aspell. Installed it and now everything is fine.

Let this record stay here in case of someone having the same problem.

Tanks a lot! I had the same problem. Now it solved. I used to compile Hungarian dictionary, but now it is fine. :)
