Hi, I installed totem-youtube but it can't play youtube videos (a dialog popups telling me that I don't have the codecs), however I have gstreamer bad and ugly plugins installed and totem can actually play flv files downloaded from youtube. żany ideas about what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

Sulphur kicks ass

Recently youtube has started using h264. I use clive and mplayer to watch youtube. And perhaps using something like mplayer-plugin if you really want to have movies in your browser.

In order to get the YouTube plugin in Totem to work, you need to update gstreamer-plugins-good. The current package doesn't have support for "soup" that the YouTube plugin requires. This is already fixed in the upcoming rpm, but I'm not sure when it will be pushed out as an F9 update.

If you can't wait, you can download the new package directly from here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=50024

I also need gstreamer-ffmpeg from livna to playback H264 content.
