every time i boot, it boots into init 3 as default. i have to type init 5 to boot linux. how do i change it so i dont have to keep typing init 5 every time i restart?

Hello:
From a terminal log in as root and type and enter

gedit /etc/inittab

and look for

id:3:initdefault:

and change it to

id:5:initdefault:

Save, exit and reboot and you should be good to go.
