I need something that can generate reports from a ndo database, is there such a thing?

I've tried googleing for one without any luck.

What sort of reports? Nagios basically gathers info from its plugins and sends emails and the like, though it will generate a somewhat simple graph, basically showing yes, the host was down, or this service had a warning type thing.

I just have some slight knowledge of Nagios, which is most useful as a notifier, and cacti which makes pretty graphs.

I'm looking for availability reports, the ones nagios can create out of the box isn't very friendly to read for customers.

No it isn't, is it. :)
We use Nagios and Cacti as two separate entities. Cacti is best at graphiing snmp enabled machines, such as switch traffic. However, I wouldn't call it customer friendly.

I'm sorry that I can't be more help. Is a commercial solution viable? There's bigbrother, used to be free, but isn't now. There's also zabbix and zenoss, but I haven't used either.

might be of some use, (and might not.)

Again, sorry I can't be more help.

Doing a little more googling on this, zabbix might even be your solution. If you try it, please post your results.

The above is a thread started by a nagios user asking questions.
