hey,

So i'm trying to create a livecd with some packages of my own.one of my packages is a kernel module. When i add the package to the repo..when creating the livecd it says...

/tmp/ks-script-t5O1eS: line 46: depmod: command not found
/tmp/ks-script-t5O1eS: line 47: modprobe: command not found

so basically im not able to resolve module dependencies...why exactly is that?...

Additionally,...i removed those commands from my rpm and tried to add them to the %post of the livecd kickstart file....still gives the err

cp: cannot create regular file `/lib/modules/2.6.24.3-34.fc8/kernel/drivers/char/': No such file or directory
/tmp/ks-script-t5O1eS: line 46: depmod: command not found
/tmp/ks-script-t5O1eS: line 47: modprobe: command not found

hi AutoC,
as much as i know about livecds (not that i have used too much of it), they do not use your hdd for storage.
since your dvd is read only, thats the reason i think you are getting these problems.

note: i could be wrong. this is only a guess.
