View Full Version : Latest kernel update broke 3D acceleration with Intel card

Hey!

I have an integrated Intel 82945G integrated graphics controller.
The only graphically intensive think I use it for is the quake3 arena that comes with Fedora.

Up until yesterday, when I picked the latest kernel update, it worked happily. (No special settings ever were required).
With yesterday's (3/7) latest kernel update, when I start quake3, it says "No 3D accelerator present" and refuses to run.

Cheers,
T

Suggest a reboot back to the previous kernel.
