I could Install Fedora only after disabling Core Multi Processing feature in the BIOS setup.
It is working fine. But will there be any hardware problem if I disable this feature ?
Or please suggest me any kernel that supports Core 2 Duo .

the 2.6.xx of the kernel line should support the intel 2 core duo
