View Full Version : how compatable is fedora

im looking for a new op system as im fedup with the constantly waighting for xp to cach up with its self but i need an op system thet i can install my software like bt internet stuff or anti virus mainly internet service provider stuff though can you just put a cd in the drive and install from it ?

Fedora is a Linux distribution. It's not compatible with Windows software. Some Windows programs may work to some extent with Wine (http://www.winehq.org/) but normally you should look for equivalent native Linux software instead.
