Mouse buttons!

Hello, i use FC8 and i am having a problem with my mouse.
I cant use the 3rd and 4th button normally used to navigate my browser forward and back.
I have gone into the control center and can not find anything to help solve this issue.
When i use what would be the back button on my mouse it acts like the left button and i can highlight text and so on so i know at least it functions.

This is for my Logitech MX400. Add theese into your /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Try to edit buttons number (counting 3 for wheel) and button mapping
